正面から見ると独特とも取れる形ですが、フレンチヴィンテージでもよくみられるクラウンパントというデザイン。それを独自の感性で解釈し、少しカジュアルに仕上げることで、格好良くもかけやすい眼鏡へと仕上げています。
こちらの製品は職人兼デザイナーの雨田大輔氏が1本1本手作りで製作しております。
こちらは折角堂のみの特別カラーです。
MEGANE ROCK has been processing celluloid without using core metal. However in newly started "MEGANE ROCK VECTOR" uses acetate layer. In Sabae incorporate core metal for enhancing strength into acetate layers, which is calld commonly "Shinhari" tecnique", in these models, introduce vector shapes as core metals. Incorporation with vector shaped core metal in acetate, whose role is to enhance strength of acetate temple, and is traditional technique "Sinhari".
With a unique shape viewed from the front, it is Crown pant as is often seen in French vintage. By interpreting the former model with designer's own sensibility and making it more casual, it is finished both cooler and more comfortable to wear.
Ameda Daisuke, the designer and craftsman of this brand make products by hand this model one by one.
