日本の眼鏡づくりにおいて、独自に受け継がれてきた素材“サンプラチナ”。今では、ほとんど使われることがなく、チタンが主流になっています。この失われつつある素材を、代々続く“手曲げの技法”で扱っている職人にフレームを製作依頼。チタンにはない手で曲げられるという特性を最大限に活かし、細かいデザインや仕様を追求しています。
あえてメッキやカラーリングをせず、無垢の素材を使用しています。フレームラインだけで勝負するこだわりの一本です。職人が手がける上質で、手作りならではの温もりを感じて下さい。
犬の首輪につけるタグ、ドッグタグ型のデザイン。一見、天地が浅く少し横長のフォーマルな印象の眼鏡かと思いきや、遠近両用レンズをはじめとする累進レンズを入れても問題ないサイズで製作されています。鼻周りのカットが顔をスッキリとみせることのできるシェイプ。カラーレンズなどを入れても楽しめる一本です。

Designed by Takahashi, the owner of this store, Sekkakudo, Mr.Riichi Sakamoto, a long experienced craftsman working in Sabae city, Toyama prefecture, the mecca of eye wears, crafted this model one by one with utmost care ,applying a traditional "Temage (manual bending)" technique, using Sanplatinum metal (Japanese original white color alloy of Ni 85%、 Cr 11%,Ag, and others) having been used since before the introduction of titanium.
Without giving metallic coating and coloration, this makes use of solid material . You may touch and feel warmth of high quality craftsman work. It is made of solid materials without plating and coloration , which stand out only with frame lines. You may feel the warmth of high quality handmade work of craftsman.
It is of dog tag shape frame, similar to a tag attached to a dog collar. It seems formal at a glance with lower and wider lenses, but they are crafted in a size that can hold progressive lenses such as bifocal lenses. The cutting around the nose makes the face look clear. It also can be replaced with color lens.
