日本の眼鏡づくりにおいて、独自に受け継がれてきた素材“サンプラチナ”。今では、ほとんど使われることがなく、チタンが主流になっています。この失われつつある素材を、代々続く“手曲げの技法”で扱っている職人にフレームを製作依頼。チタンにはない手で曲げられるという特性を最大限に活かし、細かいデザインや仕様を追求しています。
あえてメッキやカラーリングをせず、無垢の素材を使用しています。フレームラインだけで勝負するこだわりの一本です。職人が手がける上質で、手作りならではの温もりを感じて下さい。
無垢素材を生かしたヘキサゴンフレーム。デザインの重心を下部に持ってくる事で生み出される余白、そこから感じる穏やかさとラインの奇抜さを融合し、それらの均整をとるデザインと技法は見事といえる一本です。

Designed by Takahashi, the owner of this store, Sekkakudo, Mr.Riichi Sakamoto, a long experienced craftsman working in Sabae city, Toyama prefecture, the mecca of eye wears, crafted this model one by one with utmost care ,applying a traditional "Temage (manual bending)" technique, using Sanplatinum metal (Japanese original white color alloy of Ni 85%、 Cr 11%,Ag, and others) having been used since before the introduction of titanium.
Without giving metallic coating and coloration, this makes use of solid material . You may touch and feel warmth of high quality craftsman work.

Hexagon frame making the best use of solid material. The blank created by focusing on the bottom, and the calmness felt from which, fuse with peculiar lines of the bottom, which is harmonized with masterly design and skills.
